The presenting author must be registered for ISMM 2027.

The presenting author must provide the ISMM 2027 registration number received via email.

Abstracts must present original work and must not have been previously published in conference proceedings or journals.

Authors must specify the relevant category and their preference for oral or poster presentation.

A confirmation email will be sent upon submission. This confirmation does not imply acceptance.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the ISMM 2027 Scientific Committee, which reserves the right to accept or reject an abstract or consider it for either oral or poster presentation. The committee's decision shall be final.

Abstract acceptance notifications will be sent after approval by the Scientific Committee.

Certificates will be issued only to the presenting author.

The names, institutional affiliations, and contact details of the presenting author and all co-authors must be provided in the submission form.

Please ensure that the presenting author's email address and mobile number are correct, as these will be the primary means of communication regarding acceptance.

Once submitted, abstracts cannot be edited. All abstracts must be submitted in English.

Abstracts must be submitted using the prescribed pro forma. Separate attachments or PDF files will not be accepted.

The deadline for abstract submission for free oral/poster presentations and the awards category is 15 December 2026.

The abstract must fall under one of the nine categories listed above.

Prepare your abstract in Microsoft Word using Times New Roman font, then copy and paste the text into the designated submission box.

Do not include graphics, images, or tables in the abstract.

To ensure an impartial review, do not include the names of authors or their institutional affiliations in the abstract text.

Word limit: 300 words for the abstract body, excluding the title.

Title: Must be written in CAPITAL LETTERS and bold, using Times New Roman, font size 14.

Abstract body: Use lowercase text in Times New Roman, font size 12, and structure the abstract under the following headings:

Introduction: State the purpose and objectives of the research, the research hypothesis, and/or a description of the problem being analysed or evaluated.

Materials and Methods: Describe the study period, setting and location, study design, study population, data collection methods, and methods of analysis.

Results: Clearly summarise the specific results, outcomes, and key findings.

Conclusion: Explain the significance of the findings and/or study outcomes, along with their future implications.

For case reports and case series, the abstract should include the following sections: Background/Introduction, Case Presentation, and Discussion/Conclusion.

Any ISMM member is eligible to compete for these prizes.

Abstracts must be submitted in the prescribed format.

The presenting author must have a valid ISMM membership number.

A soft copy of the paper or abstract (as applicable to the relevant award category) must be emailed to the ISMM Secretary's office at secretary.ismm@gmail.com.
